Sharjah 24: Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) received a delegation from Sharjah Holding, which represents a strategic partnership between “Majid Al Futtaim” and “Sharjah Asset Management Holding”.
This meeting discussed ways of cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between the two sides to contribute to the continued development of performance and the provision of services to customers and the private and public sectors to achieve effective integration and coordination among them to provide the best services.
Welcoming the delegation headed by Walid Al Hashimi, CEO of Sharjah Holding, and Moawia Hamad, Government Relations Manager – Communities Business Unit, Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, expressed his happiness with this visit and its role in strengthening various cooperation relations and accelerating development processes, adding that such meetings are considered one of the Department’s objectives towards achieving sustainable economic development in Sharjah.
The delegation learned about the services provided by the department to facilitate various procedures for customers and investors, as well as coordination mechanisms it provides in cooperation with local and federal authorities to raise the level of business competitiveness to positively impact emirate’s GDP and business environment as guided by the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and supported and followed up by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council.
Sharjah Holding CEO expressed his gratitude to the SEDD and affirmed his keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination with Department in a way that contributes to developing the mutual work system to find outputs that serve all parties to improve the levels of service provided to investors.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation thanked SEDD for its efforts to improve economic work in the emirate and praised the clearly adopted development methodology.
